Sparks Coffee Roasters is a small batch, family run business, whose entire focus is on providing its customers with the highest quality freshest coffee possible

Stephen and Kerriann Larsen are a husband and wife team who are passionate about all things coffee. After almost a decade of working in hospitality we finally decided to purchase our own cafe, Bean Thru. However, we quickly realized that we were not content with just being able to extract the perfect espresso shot.

We wanted to fully harness our business’s potential and take our love of coffee to the next level. We decided to take the plunge and purchase a state of the art Giesen coffee roaster and Stephen set off and sought out the best practices and methods for sourcing and roasting coffee.

Sparks Coffee Roasters began as a family passion project rooted in the belief that exceptional coffee shouldn't be a luxury it should be a daily ritual. We source only the finest, ethically grown beans from sustainable farms around the world, then roast them in small batches to unlock their full flavor potential.

Every batch is carefully monitored and roasted to perfection in our family run facility, ensuring maximum freshness and consistency. We don't cut corners, and we don't mass produce. Each bag of Sparks coffee is roasted with the same attention and care we'd give to a cup we're brewing for ourselves because to us, you're not just a customer, you're part of the Sparks family.

Our Roasting Philosophy

We roast seasonally selected green beans in small batches several times each week to ensure optimal freshness and flavor.

Each roast is carefully developed to highlight its natural tasting notes, aroma, and character delivering a coffee experience that is rich, balanced, and memorable. We work with importers and producers who have integrety and understand the importance of a great consistent product.
